OKINAWAknives
The single-edged blade along with the premium rosewood material of the handle makes this yanagiba knife similar to traditional Japanese swords. The perfect characteristics and geometry of the OKINAWA yanagiba will ensure a natural and original food taste.
A black nylon bolster on the handle provides additional balance and hygiene when in use. It is particularly crucial for this model of the knife with its extremely long 10.6-inch blade.
Even though the primary purpose of yanagiba knives is Japanese cuisine and they used to be called a chef’s sushi and sashimi knife, the application of this tool includes international dishes too. You can comfortably cut and slice beef and pork steaks, seafood and vegetables.

Description
The asymmetric cross-section of the blade with a hardness of 58 HRC with one-sided sharpening helps to carefully cut fish, meat, cheese and vegetables into thin slices, preventing them from sticking to the side surface of the knife. Its long blade will allow you to get an even cut with just one hand movement, and the handle, made of high-strength wood, will give you the opportunity to experience the maximum comfort of working in the kitchen.
