About Samura:
SAMURA — a team of professionals who create uniquely designed, high-end knives. We started our journey in 2003. We made our first product lines with the Japanese companies MAC and Mcusta. Japanese philosophy and traditions run deep in our DNA. We are absolutely sure that a Japanese knife cuts better than a European one. Japanese knives remain sharper longer and retain their edges longer.
Samura has been making its knives at production sites in four countries since 2010. We are currently producing 18 knife lines and a huge number of kitchen accessories. We use the best modern materials for the handle: Micarta, G10, stabilised wood, plastic with a soft-touch coating, Kraton, and composites.

Mo-V Stonewash
This series combines elements of the Japanese expertise developed over the centuries, one of which is the leaf-shaped blade geometry that provides the maximum length of the cutting edge, allows easy sharpening and withstands heavy workloads. A special stonewash coating provides an extra level of hardness to the blade and makes it more matte and rougher.
All Mo-V Stonewash knives come with a hygienic metallic bolster that separates the blade from an oval handle that is also heat and moisture resistant.
Smooth blade slopes and robust construction are the key features of these versatile knives.
A classic European handle made of extra durable G-10 fiberglass material adds another degree of control and allows users to maintain a confident grip at all times.
Premium steel quality is ultra hard and sharp, making the Mo-V Stonewash series very reliable for a wide range of kitchen activities.
The materials used for the creation of this series are stain resistant.

The geometry of the slicer blade from the Samura MO-V Stonewash collection is optimal for slicing into neat slices of sausage and cheese. With such a professional knife, the task of thinly plasticing fresh and salty fish for cooking sushi (or meat for carpaccio) becomes extremely simple.
The hardness of the blade in 59 HRC helps to maintain the sharpness of the cutting edge required for filigree slicing work for a long time.
An additional plus is the ergonomic fiberglass handle G-10. It provides the reliability of the grip and complete control over the cut.
