About Samura:

SAMURA — a team of professionals who create uniquely designed, high-end knives. We started our journey in 2003. We made our first product lines with the Japanese companies MAC and Mcusta. Japanese philosophy and traditions run deep in our DNA. We are absolutely sure that a Japanese knife cuts better than a European one. Japanese knives remain sharper longer and retain their edges longer.

Samura has been making its knives at production sites in four countries since 2010. We are currently producing 18 knife lines and a huge number of kitchen accessories. We use the best modern materials for the handle: Micarta, G10, stabilised wood, plastic with a soft-touch coating, Kraton, and composites.

The shape of the blade gives cutting

properties to the chopping action, which

signicantly increases its eectiveness. In

addition, striking the target surface at an

angle increases the pressure generated. As a

result, when chopping, the knife goes

through the target strong and true.

COMPOSITE INNOVATIVE MATERIAL made from

a multi-layer polymer that has a hard, impenetrable

core on the inside and a soft, non-slip surface, is used

for the handle. 

An army of small stone “workers” that hit the blade’s

surface and scratch it at dierent angles thus creates a

unique exterior pattern and makes the blade’s surface

much harder. As a result, you get a super-powered

blade with an extraordinary look.

CONVEX SHARPENING – considered to be a superior

sharpening compared to regular edge sharpening.

It is a procedure whereby the entire curve of the blade

is sharpened, not just the edge. Convex sharpening

brings longer lasting sharpness, durability and less

drag, delivering a perfectly smooth cut.
